What you’ll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of design & construct and fitout projects
  • Deliver exceptional outcomes to Clients, delivering on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards
  • Ensure detailed design and program plans are approved by the Construction Manager
  • Coach and mentor a team of construction professionals to be the best they can be
  • Manage the project's design detailing, product selection and defect process
  • Manage the approval processes for drawings and specifications, shop drawings and procurement
  • Applying an effective Subcontractor selection and evaluation procedure
  • Liaise with Clients, Consultants and Subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide regular and accurate reporting on project and risk status
  • Ensure all Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards are adhered to
  • Share lessons learned with other Project Managers
  • Provide input for the tender and ECI process
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our project management processes

What you’ll bring:

  • A genuine passion for the Construction industry and inherent drive to deliver high quality outcomes and experiences
  • Tertiary qualified in Construction Management or a related discipline
  • Experience in PM or Assistant PM roles in Construction, ideally in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment
  • Exposure to a variety of medium-to-large scale projects, e.g. commercial, residential and education, including new build and fitout projects
  • Strong track record in delivering construction projects in alignment with schedules, budgets and customer expectations
  • Thorough understanding of design and construction processes
  • Proven leader, coach and developer of successful teams
  • Collaborative approach and a focus on teamwork
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
