About the Role:

Juniper is seeking a dedicated professional to manage the end-to-end sponsorship and mobilisation processes for current employees under labour agreements. This role involves coordinating visa nominations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working closely with internal stakeholders and external migration agents to facilitate seamless onboarding and offboarding. The position plays a vital role in workforce planning by aligning sponsorship activities with recruitment strategies and supporting the integration, retention, and wellbeing of sponsored staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage labour agreements with agencies, ensuring compliance and timely updates.
  • Oversee visa nominations for overseas staff under relevant labour agreements.
  • Coordinate with migration agents and internal teams to submit sponsorship documents.
  • Ensure sponsorship compliance, including salaries, contracts, and reporting duties.
  • Support audits and site visits by preparing documentation and ensuring readiness.
  • Plan mobilisation/demobilisation, covering travel, accommodation, medicals, and visas.
  • Organise logistics for incoming sponsored employees, including airport pickups and housing.
  • Act as main contact for sponsored staff, offering guidance and resolving issues.
  • Facilitate cultural integration and retention through stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ensure legal and policy compliance throughout mobilisation processes.
  • Develop internal tools and checklists to streamline sponsorship workflows.
  • Liaise across departments and external agencies to support onboarding/offboarding.
  • Address sponsorship queries and troubleshoot emerging issues.
  • Align sponsorship with recruitment, advising on visa timelines and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sponsorship activities, role changes, and promotions.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing employee sponsorships, immigration processes, or labour agreements within Australia. ·
  • Experience working within mobilisation and demobilisation of employees, coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements (ideally within people and culture).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with immigration management systems (e.g., Immi Account).
  • In-depth understanding of Australian employment legislation, WHS, and Fair Work obligations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret and draft complex documents clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive, organized, and solutions-oriented with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
