About the role and where you'll be working:
Juniper Korumup Residential Aged Care Home is a warm and friendly home where residents enjoy a close-knit community and strong social network. The home features 100 rooms and prides itself on the provision of individualized support through our person-centered care approach.
Whilst working as an Enrolled Nurse you will provide professional nursing care for residents within the scope of your Enrolled Nurse registration. You will provide guidance and supervision to care staff; ensuring person-centered care principles are embraced and embedded during service provision to residents. Whilst working in this rewarding role you will assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in the Residential care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of clinical care to residents according to care plan
- Safe administration of medications
- Completion of required documentation
- Carer support and supervision
- Compliance with Occupational, Safety and Health requirements
Key requirements:
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
- Previous experience in aged care – desirable
- Wound care experience - desirable
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Understand the principles of Occupational Safety and Health in a health care setting
- Strong communication, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Excellent time management
