About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Retirement Village Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Retirement and Independent Living villages across WA, including our Beryl Grant Community Centre in Albany.

Based at our Bentley office and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer – Accommodation, you will manage operations, resident engagement, compliance, financial planning, and asset management across all sites. This is a unique leadership opportunity to make a lasting impact on our communities and support innovation and growth in the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the team of Retirement and Independent Living Coordinators across multiple locations
  • Oversee the smooth running of village operations and ensure an outstanding resident experience
  • Monitor and evaluate performance standards, compliance, and service quality
  • Manage budgets, financial planning, and expenditure oversight across all sites
  • Support redevelopment planning and strategic initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and asset management directives
  • Build strong relationships with residents, staff, and external stakeholders

Key Requirements:

  • Experience leading teams across multiple sites, ideally in aged care, retirement living, or community services
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or similar
  • Strong financial management and budget oversight capabilities
  • Sound knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act 1992 (WA) and associated reforms
  • High-level interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and innovative approach to problem solving
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office and financial systems)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or similar
