About the role:

Juniper is seeking caring and reliable Multiskilled Domestic Team Member to join our dedicated team at Juniper Hillcrest, our warm and welcoming residential aged care home in Geraldton.

This hands-on, people-focused role is primarily focused on catering duties, supporting the preparation and service of meals to help create a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents. Working closely with our care and hospitality teams, you will ensure high standards of food service, hygiene, and resident satisfaction preparation and service, and contribute to residents’ overall comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Catering: Assist in preparing and serving meals, setting tables, and ensuring meals meet residents’ dietary needs.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with care and hospitality staff to ensure residents feel respected, valued, and at home.
• Safety: Follow workplace health, safety, and infection control guidelines at all times.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in catering (aged care or healthcare preferred)
• Knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety, and infection control (desirable)
• Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain (preferred)
• Passionate about helping older people live with dignity and comfort
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
• Flexible to work across cleaning, laundry, and catering duties
• A great communicator who can build rapport with residents and colleagues
