As a Registered Nurse with Juniper, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, in conjunction with other healthcare professionals, and for the planning, implementation and evaluation of residents' care plans. Demonstrated experience in the mentoring and supervision of care staff and the awareness of AN-ACC required assessments is needed.

Currently we have a vacant role available in Juniper Guwardi Ngadu located in Fitzroy Crossing, Kimberley region for an Registered Nurse. It is a well-established facility offering 12 newly renovated shared rooms offering residential and memory support care.

We have a permanent full-time position available, as well as a fixed-term contract for 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong clinical assessment skills and appropriate response to changes in customer condition in consultation with the broader healthcare team
• Develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care in partnership with customers and their loved ones
• Liaise with appropriate healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to customers
• Ensure full compliance with organizational, professional and aged care standards

Key Requirements:

• AHPRA Registration
• Experience as a Registered Nurse in an aged care setting is desirable
• Strong planning and coordination skills in care delivery
• Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes care
• Sound understanding of medication systems
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
