Juniper is seeking a caring and reliable Permanent Full-Time Administration Assistant to join our dedicated team at Juniper Numbala Nunga, our warm and welcoming residential aged care home in Derby.

This hands-on, people-focused role is central to supporting the day-to-day operations of the home. You will work closely with our care, hospitality, and management teams to provide high-quality administrative support, maintain accurate records, assist with rostering and scheduling, and help ensure smooth communication across departments. Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and friendly approach will contribute to a professional and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors to the site.
  • Act as a point of contact for resident inquiries, referring them to the Manager/Supervisor as appropriate.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, word processing, minute-taking, and photocopying.
  • Input and maintain records to ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in the aged care sector is highly desirable.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task.
  • Effective time management skills and an understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Professional, confident, and clear communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and consistently reliable
