Juniper Gerdewoonem in Kununurra are currently seeing an experienced Domestic Caterer (Kitchen Hand) to join the team on a casual basis.

The successful candidate will be expected to have flexible availability Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and presenting meals
• Provide kitchen hand services at our facility that include; preparation of food, modifying food texture, apportioning food accurately, serving food to residents, and maintaining a welcoming cafe atmosphere.
• Cleaning of cooking areas and equipment to a high standard
• Application of safe food handling practices, along with adhering to Juniper's policies and procedures relating to Occupational Safety and Health

 Key requirements:

• Must have valid work rights in Australia
• Experience in a commercial cooking environment or aged care catering
• Safe food handling practice and hygiene standards, including expertise in maintaining cleanliness and safety
• Demonstrating good written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, customers, and team members
• Knowledge of relevant chemicals and safe handling practices and procedures
