About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned People & Culture professional with 10–15+ years of senior-level experience in large, complex organizations. This role requires advanced expertise in employee relations, including complex workplace investigations, advocacy, negotiation, mediation, and conciliation. You will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance and coaching on sensitive ER matters. Experience in the care sector is highly desirable, along with a proven track record in leading organizational change and driving cultural initiatives. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Juniper Aged Care are currently seeking an experienced Senior People and Culture Advisor to join the team on a 12-month fixed term, full time contract based in our head office in Balcatta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations & Compliance: provide advice on employee relations, manage investigations, and ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies.
- Change Management: support leaders through organizational changes and manage related projects.
- Grievance & Conduct Management: act as a Grievance Officer and handle complaints confidentially, ensuring a respectful workplace.
- Training & Development: develop and deliver HR-related training and educational programs.
- Policy & Safety Compliance: assist in policy development, ensure safety compliance, and participate in risk management.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience (10-15+ years) in a senior people and culture role within large, complex organizations.
- Degree or post graduate qualifications in HR/IR or related area.
- Advanced experience in conducting investigations, advocacy, negotiation, mediation, and conciliation, particularly in complex ER cases.
- Significant experience in coaching and advising senior leadership teams and key stakeholders on employee relations matters.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and manage employee relations in the care industry is highly desirable.
- Strong track record of leading people and contributing to strategic organizational change.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities, with a strong ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Technologically adept, with the ability to use a wide range of HR and business systems efficiently.
