About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team on a fixed term 6-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent full-time role thereafter. Working closely with the Business Systems Lead, the Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that Juniper's key line-of-business applications and operating systems are configured and maintained in accordance with vendor and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the continuous operation and performance of key line-of-business applications.
- Coordinate and support upgrades, migrations, and new business system deployments.
- Manage changes to applications in conjunction with Juniper’s Change Management processes including testing and cutover.
- Facilitate support in the investigation and resolution of application issues.
- Provide specialist advice to end users.
- Act as a liaison between business users and ICT teams
- Produce appropriate build, operational, and documentation i.e. business requirements, system design, and system configuration.
- Work closely with the external support teams and manage the after-hours support.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with substantial experience in the implementation of ERP solutions.
- Proven experience in Business Analysis, system testing and complex data migration.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead implementations and upgrades from inception to completion.
- Proficiency in configuring and maintaining line-of-business applications, preferably within the Healthcare or Aged Care sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server Environment and SQL database management.
- Current business-focused IT certifications such as Agile, ITIL or PRINCE2 foundation level or above will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
