About the role:

Juniper St Davids, located in Mount Lawley, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our supportive residential aged care team on a fixed-term basis, with potential to extend. A further parental leave is anticipated from August (approx. 10 months), subject to confirmation.

In this role, you will assess residents’ clinical needs, coordinate care with healthcare professionals, and implement and review person-centred care plans. You will also provide guidance to care staff and help ensure high standards of clinical care for residents.

The following shifts are on offer:

Week 1:

Tuesday 2:45pm – 10:45pm (until 01/06/2026)

Week 2:

Wednesday 2:45pm – 10:45pm (until 01/06/2026)

Sunday 10:30pm – 7:15am (until 14/08/2026)

Monday 10:30pm – 7:15am (until 14/08/2026)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident health and wellbeing
  • Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans in partnership with residents and their families
  • Administer medications and provide clinical treatments in line with professional standards
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to care staff
  • Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers to coordinate resident care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting
  • Support AN-ACC assessments and ensure accurate clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice
  • Participate in infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement initiatives

Key Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • 2+ years’ experience as an RN in an aged care setting (or equivalent)
  • Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills
  • Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management
  • Sound understanding of medication systems
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
