Juniper is a leading not-for-profit provider of aged care and community services across Western Australia. We’re seeking a motivated Financial Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement within our Finance team.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll ensure the integrity of Juniper’s financial reporting and compliance with AASB, ACNC, and aged care prudential standards. You’ll prepare financial statements, manage balance sheet reconciliations, and support audits, prudential returns, and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statutory accounts.
• Maintain compliance with AASB, ACNC, taxation, and aged care financial standards.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and monitor cash flow, creditors, and debtors.
• Support audit processes, prudential reporting, and financial control improvements.
• Assist with grants, funding acquittals, and financial system data integrity (Epicor, Medius, Prophix).
• Collaborate with the Finance team to meet deadlines and mentor junior staff.

About You

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/CA qualified or working towards.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting compliance.
• Experience in financial accounting, audits, and ERP systems (Epicor advantageous).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
