Reporting to the Manager Work Health & Safety, this role is responsible for coordinating injury management, workers' compensation and return-to-work activities across Juniper's Residential, Community and Corporate services.

  • Manage workers' compensation claims in partnership with insurers, brokers and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement and monitor suitable duties programs and return-to-work plans.
  • Facilitate communication between injured workers, healthcare providers, insurers and operational leaders.
  • Monitor injury trends and claims data and provide recommendations to improve workplace health and safety outcomes.
  • Support incident investigations and identify opportunities to reduce injury risk across the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant workers' compensation and workplace health and safety legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting and documentation relating to injury management activities.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
  • Current registration with AHPRA (where applicable) or ESSA accreditation.
  • Demonstrated experience in injury management, workplace rehabilitation or workers' compensation.
  • Sound understanding of Western Australian workers' compensation and workplace health and safety legislation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and influencing abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence and willingness to travel to Juniper sites as required.

Why Join Juniper?

  • Salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550 per annum.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Additional annual leave purchase options.
  • Employee wellness and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact across one of WA's largest aged care providers.
