About the role and where you'll be working:

Juniper is seeking caring and reliable Multiskilled Domestic Team Member to join our dedicated team at Juniper Korumup, our warm and welcoming residential aged care home in Albany, WA.

Located in a peaceful part of Albany, Juniper Korumup is a well-established aged care home providing culturally respectful and person-centred care for up to 72 residents. We’re deeply rooted in the local community and proud to offer a homely, supportive environment where residents feel safe, valued, and cared for—and where staff are truly appreciated.

This hands on, people focused role rotates between cleaning, laundry, and catering duties to help create a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents. Working closely with our care and hospitality teams, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, assist with meal preparation and service, and contribute to residents’ overall comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning: Keep residents’ rooms and common areas spotless, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high touch surfaces.
  • Laundry: Wash, dry, iron, and return personal and facility laundry while following infection control procedures.
  • Catering: Assist in preparing and serving meals, setting tables, and ensuring meals meet residents’ dietary needs.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with care and hospitality staff to ensure residents feel respected, valued, and at home.
  • Safety: Follow workplace health, safety, and infection control guidelines at all times.

What you'll Need:

  • Experience in cleaning, catering, & laundry services (aged care or healthcare preferred)
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety, and infection control (desirable)
  • Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain (preferred)
  • Passionate about helping older people live with dignity and comfort
  • Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
  • Flexible to work across cleaning, laundry, and catering duties
  • A great communicator who can build rapport with residents and colleagues
