About the Role:

Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, this part-time role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end student placements across Juniper services. This position can be worked either four full days per week or six-hour days over five days, offering flexibility to suit work-life balance. You will be the central point of contact for students, education providers, internal staff, and clinical facilitators, ensuring compliance, smooth communication, and positive learning outcomes.

No two days are the same. You will support students before, during, and after placements. You will manage agreements and records, monitor quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support placement students before, during, and after their placement
  • Act as the primary contact for students, placement organizations, and education providers
  • Manage placement documentation, agreements, compliance records, and schedules
  • Maintain centralized calendars and databases of confirmed and pending placements
  • Build strong relationships with universities, TAFEs and secondary schools
  • Support Juniper staff and facilitate two way communication between stakeholders
  • Gather and analyze feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Provide reports on placement activity, outcomes and improvements

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in Community Services, Social Welfare, Human Services or a related area
  • Experience coordinating student placements or working with education providers
  • Experience within aged care or healthcare highly desirable
  • Understanding of aged care, VET pathways and student education requirements
  • Strong awareness of safety and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management capability
  • High attention to detail with reliable record keeping
  • Problem solving ability and confidence resolving placement issues
