About the role:

We’re looking for caring and reliable Community Support Workers to join our friendly and supportive Home and Community Care team in the South Metropolitan area of Perth. We have part time permanent opportunities available.

We are currently seeking experienced Community Support Workers in the Rockingham area.

The following opportunities are on offer:

• 1x casual contract
• 1x permanent part time Saturday and Sunday (availability: 9.00-1900)
• 1x permanent part time (availability: Monday-Friday 9.00-1800)
• 1x permanent part time (availability: Monday-Friday 07.00-1600)

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal care, including showering, dressing, continence care
• Assist Client with administration of correct medication – training provided
• Assisting high care Clients with activities of daily living
• Assisting Clients with domestic duties, meal preparation and other household tasks to ensure safe and hygienic living conditions in their own homes
• Social Support, including transport to shops or appointments
• Adherence to Client Care Plan 

Key Requirements:

• Current Australian driver’s license and reliable car - essential
• Past experience working in aged care is essential and this must include the delivery of personal care
• Previous community experience - desirable
• Certificate III Aged Care - desirable
• Dementia Care experience - desirable
• Current First Aid - desirable

• Attractive rate of pay $34.19 - $36.58 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications), plus 12% superannuation and 20% casual loading.
