About the role:

Juniper Community is seeking a Podiatrist to join our friendly and supportive Home and Community Care Team. This is an autonomous, community-based role involving travel across the North Perth Metropolitan area, with optional, fully paid travel to regional and remote locations including Northam and the East Kimberley.

We are recruiting for a full-time or part-time position. Work is Monday to Friday during core business hours, with flexibility to negotiate days and hours with the successful candidate(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess feet and provide routine foot care
  • Diagnose and treat foot-related conditions, including wound care and diabetic and neurovascular foot assessments
  • Provide advice and education to clients and families on footwear and foot care
  • Assess, prescribe, and fit surgical or orthopaedic footwear
  • Deliver corrective treatments as required
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, including progress notes and care plans, to support the delivery of high-quality care

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Podiatry with current AHPRA registration
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Experience in community or aged care settings (desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously while delivering empathetic, person-centred care to older clients
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage a mobile caseload
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary health professionals and service providers
  • Strong clinical documentation and reporting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
