About the Role:

Juniper is seeking caring and reliable Community Domestic Workers to join our Home and Community Care team across Perth’s northern suburbs, including Stirling and surrounds and Morley, Middle Swan, Caversham and surrounding areas.

In this role, you will support older Western Australians to remain living independently in their own homes, assisting with domestic cleaning and chores, daily living activities, and social support. You will play an important role in helping customers maintain their independence, wellbeing, and connection to their community.

Positions Available:

We currently have casual and permanent part-time opportunities available, with shifts across weekdays between 7:00am-5:30pm, depending on service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support and assistance to customers with domestic cleaning, household chores and meal preparation
  • Assist and encourage customers with communication and socialization
  • Social Support, including transport to shops or appointments
  • Adherence to Client Care Plan and complete documentation
  • Maintain compliance with Juniper policies and procedures
  • Compliance with Occupational, Safety and Health requirements

Key Requirements:

  • A reliable vehicle and current Australian driver’s license – essential
  • Understand documentation and relevant aged care legislation
  • Understand principles of Occupational, Safety & Health and correct manual handling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Certificate III Aged Care or Dementia Care Course - desirable, not essential
