We are seeking a Podiatrist to join our friendly and supportive Home and Community Care Team. This is an autonomous role that requires you to travel throughout the Perth Metropolitan area and provide care to our clients. Travelling to further regions such as the East Kimberley or Northam may also be available if of interest to you.

We are currently hiring for a part-time role, with a maximum of 45 hours per fortnight. Available work hours are Monday to Friday during core business hours. Shifts and hours can be negotiated with successful candidates.

Successful candidates will have access to the following:

  • Pool cars or paid mileage
  • Laptop and phone
  • All Podiatry equipment and consumables required for the role

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of feet and routine foot care
  • Diagnosis and treatment of foot related issues including wound care, and diabetic and neurovascular foot assessment
  • Provide advice and education to clients and families on footwear and foot-care
  • Assess and prescribe surgical or orthopedic footwear.
  • Provide corrective treatment as required
  • Complete appropriate documentation and reporting to ensure the provision of quality care

 Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Tertiary qualification and current registration with AHPRA
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable car
  • Ability to relate to elderly clients with empathy whilst working effectively with other health professionals and service providers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
