About the Role
Juniper is seeking a talented Communications Officer to join our team to enhance and champion our organisation’s reputation and brand. Part of a small, fast-paced team, this dynamic role involves creation and coordination of on-brand external and internal communications, marketing activities, and storytelling across multiple mediums.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling on-brand content using a wide range of mediums, including digital, print and video, for internal and external audiences.
- Manage and create content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand, advocacy and marketing objectives.
- Create engaging corporate communications, supporting communications plans, projects, and services.
- Produce marketing collateral such as brochures and digital content to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Assist in organising and participating in events, sponsorships and industry awards.
- Identify and coordinate proactive media opportunities, media monitoring, and support response to reactive media to increase Juniper’s brand awareness and advocacy areas.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health requirements and Juniper policies
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related discipline
- Highly developed written communication skills with the ability to research, write, proof-read and edit a diverse range of internal and external communication materials.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including staff, managers, community groups, clients, media and suppliers.
- Demonstrated time management skills and a high level of organisational ability.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
- High level of ability with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Photography and video skills (desirable).
- Knowledge of aged care or not-for-profit sectors is an advantage
