About the Role:

Juniper is seeking compassionate and reliable Community Support Workers to join our Home and Community Care team in Bremer Bay and surrounding areas.

In this role, you will support older Western Australians to remain living independently in their own homes, assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and social support. You will play an important role in helping customers maintain their independence, wellbeing, and connection to their community.

Working in the community provides a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships with customers while making a positive impact within your local region.

We currently have a casual opportunity available, availability required for this position is Monday to Thursday 0900-1400.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care including showering, dressing and continence support
  • Assist customers with activities of daily living
  • Support customers with medication administration (training provided)
  • Assist with domestic tasks, including meal preparation and household support
  • Provide social support, including transport to appointments or community activities
  • Follow and document care in accordance with individual care plans

Key Requirements:

  • Current Australian Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (essential)
  • Previous experience providing personal care in aged care or community care
  • Ability to work independently in the community while maintaining communication with the team
  • A genuine commitment to supporting older people to live independently
  • Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care
  • Dementia care experience
  • Current First Aid Certificate
