🌟 Multiple Full-Time & Part-Time (0.6FTE - 1.0 FTE) Roles Available

📍 Based in Morwell with travel to co-locations all around the Gippsland region

🧡 VIT Registration Essential - Make a Real Impact Outside the Traditional Classroom

Positions available for an immediate start!

Are you a registered teacher looking to make a real difference through one-on-one, interest-led learning?

Junction Support Services is seeking experienced, fully qualified teachers to join our Education Support for Children in Care (ESCC) Program - where education meets purpose.

This is not a teacher aide, early childhood education or classroom support role - current VIT (or equivalent) registration is essential.

In this unique position, you’ll work one-on-one with children and young people living in out-of-home care, developing and delivering tailored learning plans that align with their interests, strengths, and goals. It’s a flexible, rewarding way to use your teaching expertise to create lasting impact.

💡 Why Join Junction?

We’re a not-for-profit organisation that’s all about heart, purpose, and community. Across the Gippsland region, we support children, young people, and families through education, housing, and wraparound care. Our ESCC Teachers are a vital part of that mission, bringing education to life for students who need it most.

🎯 What You’ll Do

  • Spend one day each week* in our Morwell office, connecting with a passionate and supportive team
  • Use the rest of your work time to engage directly with students or complete planning and programming — all within paid hours
  • Deliver one-on-one, personalised education plans tailored to each student’s interests, goals, and learning needs
  • Collaborate with carers, case workers, and other professionals to build a strong, wraparound support network
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans
  • Create a safe, positive learning environment that supports each student’s educational and emotional growth

🎓 What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor of Education + current Victorian Teaching Registration (essential)
  • Experience working with young people in care (Kinship, Foster, Residential, or Lead Tenant)
  • Ability to tailor teaching strategies to each student’s learning style
  • Confidence working independently and building strong, trusting relationships
  • Passion for equity in education and making a long-term difference

💼 What You’ll Get

  • Competitive pay with access to salary packaging
  • Travel allowance for KMs travelled to colocations
  • Opportunities for genuine professional growth
  • A positive, collaborative, and flexible team culture
  • Wellbeing initiatives to help you thrive at work and at home

If you're ready to reimagine your teaching journey and make everyday count, apply today!

These roles are fixed-term until December 2027, with full-time and part-time options available.
