At Junction Support Services, we exist to support people to live better lives. Every day, our teams help young people overcome barriers, build confidence and reconnect with opportunity.

We’re on the lookout for two enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House All-Rounders to join our friendly café team on a casual basis.

Close Collective Cafe

The Close Collective Cafe is a social enterprise owned by Junction Support Services. In 2020, Junction purchased "The Grove" building in central Wodonga to create a community youth space and a social enterprise café where young people will learn and work.

Proceeds through The Close Collective Cafe are used to support Junction Support Services youth programs. Each program is designed to uniquely support the young people across their development including their wellbeing, life-skills and employment opportunities.

The café hosts a number of youth programs and initiatives including:

  • The Orchard Program: a 10 week work experience for young people to gain hands on experience and support to develop transferrable skills for future employment
  • Pay-it-forward: an initiative designed to ensure no young person goes hungry. With a donation of just $10 will provide a healthy and nutritious meal for a young person in need.

Our work is guided by our core values of Respect, Collaboration, Innovation, Integrity, and Inclusion & Diversity.
