Every day, our people work alongside children, young people, individuals and families, empowering brighter futures and building strong, thriving communities together.
About the Role
As the Team Manager – Homes First, you will lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to creating lasting change for people experiencing homelessness.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in our Housing First pilot program, supporting individuals and families to secure safe, stable housing while improving their wellbeing and connection to community.
Leading a team of skilled practitioners, you will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and person centred practice. Working closely with internal and external partners, you will guide high quality service delivery and help shape a program that is transforming homelessness support across regional Victoria.
The Homes First program delivers flexible, wraparound, trauma-informed support grounded in Housing First principles — recognising that safe, secure housing is a fundamental human right and the foundation for recovery, independence, and long-term stability.
This is a part-time permanent opportunity working 60.80 hours per fortnight, based in Shepparton. The role will see you working collaboratively across our Wodonga, Wangaratta and Shepparton regions.

In the role, you will:
- Lead day-to-day service delivery and program implementation
- Mentor and coach staff to deliver best-practice, client-centred support
- Embed Housing First principles across all practice
- Ensure high-quality case management and positive client outcomes
- Oversee program performance, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Build strong relationships with housing services and community partners
- Contribute to strategic growth and continuous improvement
About You
You'll bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or similar)
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff supervision and performance management
- Strong knowledge of the homelessness and/or family violence sector
- Understanding of Housing First and trauma-informed practice
- Experience in case management frameworks and strengths-based approaches
