What will I be doing?
As an Employment Consultant, your role will be to empower individuals with a disability, injury or a health condition, to achieve and maintain meaningful and sustainable employment.
Whilst meeting specific targets in the role, you will also provide:
- Tailored guidance and coaching.
- Job placement and ongoing support to your client group.
- Identification of new opportunities with local employers.
- Understanding of the unique employment needs of your clients.
- Collaboration with employers to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
Who are you?
You are committed to making a difference through connecting and supporting your clients into sustainable employment. You will also have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, bringing
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and case management within employment services will be highly advantageous
- Problem-solving and goal-setting abilities are essential
- Solid understanding of the local labour market and employment pathways.
- Attention to detail and solid administration skills
You must be able to balance empathy, dignity, and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes.
