Overview of our role
The Strategy Manager reports into the Strategy & Market Development Manager – Electricity. The opportunity to take ownership and drive managing the strategy development and deployment of Jemena’s Electricity Network (JEN) Market Strategy. You'll support the translation of insights and focus areas into commercially viable roadmaps and initiatives, that will drive strong customer and commercial business outcomes and ensure the long-term sustainability of the business.
Your role as the Strategy Manager will also support the Strategy & Market Development team to deliver on key strategic initiatives including Customer Engagement, Business Development and other priority activities.
Interface across the JEN departments, Digital, Corporate Strategy, Market Regulation, Corporate Affairs teams to support and drive the required business strategy outcomes and reporting requirements.
A little about you
- Proven Strategy role experience or experience in strategy consulting, electricity network, policy, or strategic planning
- Proven analytical and modelling experience, with the ability to interpret financial information and develop insights from data
- Proven interpersonal skills, with an ability to proactively build and maintain positive, productive relationships with key stakeholders
- Business case development and tactical/delivery project management experience
Qualifications / certifications & Skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Business/Commerce, Economics, Finance, Marketing or Engineering) desirable
- Understanding of energy customers’ needs and preferences
- Interpreting financial information
- Understanding of factors influencing regulated energy networks (desirable
- Project management qualifications (desirable)
