Role Overview:
We’re excited to invite expressions of interest for the role of Digital Procurement Manager (based in either Sydney or Melbourne) – a key opportunity for someone passionate about partnering with the business to deliver smart, strategic outcomes in the technology space.
In this role, you’ll lead a team of procurement and technology professionals to shape and deliver sourcing strategies that align with our business needs and values. You’ll bring a collaborative mindset and a strong sense of purpose as you guide your team and work alongside stakeholders across the organisation. Implement both short and long term procurement strategies through engaging various internal and external stakeholders to improve the procurement service offering.
What makes this role truly rewarding is its breadth and influence. You’ll play a central role in managing the full end-to-end Digital Procurement process – from shaping supplier relationships and overseeing commercial contracts, to driving procurement portfolio planning and leading market engagements.
Your strengths in communication, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement will help us continually improve our procurement services and deliver value in ways that benefit our people, our partners, and the communities we serve.
Experience you will bring to the role:
- Experienced in senior IT procurement roles, including sourcing, supplier relationships, vendor management, and category planning
- Demostrate highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in developing IT sourcing strategies that support business goals and future technology needs
- Strong understanding of IT systems, policies, and industry practices
- Confident in leading contract negotiations, managing supplier performance, and overseeing procurement processes
- Proven ability to lead and support a high-performing team through change and delivery
- Desired: Familiar with procurement tools such as SAP, BI Reporting, eProcure, and ECMS
Qualifications & skills:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a Procurement / Information Technology related discipline or relevant field.
- Outstanding influencing skills with evidence of leading significant commercial negotiations.
- Demonstrated skills in strategic thinking and planning integrating complex concepts.
- Discipline in executing defined business processes.
- Strong customer focus, with advanced conflict resolution skills.
- The ability to think analytically, and work with innovation.
- Strong understanding of individual behaviours.
