About the Role

As a Contractor Compliance Administrator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring training and competency compliance across a range of clients for Zinfra and Jemena’s subcontractors You’ll coordinate inductions, monitor training records, and support both internal teams and external partners with systems and process queries.

Your work will span multiple networks — including Jemina, United Energy, AusNet—and initially focus on gas training requirements, with potential to expand into electricity. You’ll also contribute to reporting, auditing, and continuous improvement of compliance processes, including supporting the Work Authorisation System (WAS).

This is a dynamic role that requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to navigate complex systems and stakeholder needs.

About You

You’re someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently manage competing priorities. You bring a proactive mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to ask questions and seek clarity. You’re comfortable working independently after training, and you’re not afraid to learn new systems or adapt to ambiguity.

You have a collaborative spirit and enjoy supporting others. You’re detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of interpreting technical work into compliance requirements. Experience in compliance, contractor management, or the energy sector is helpful—but not essential.

Your strengths include:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry
  • Ability to analyse and interpret training and compliance data
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Knowledge of VESI Skills and Training or experience in the power industry is a bonus.
