About the role
We are seeking a motivated second-year Chemical Engineer to join our team, bringing hands-on experience in gas transmission pipelines, gas processing facilities and a solid grounding in asset management and plant performance. In this role, you’ll support safe and efficient operations by contributing to safety requirements, applying risk management practices, root cause investigation, management of change, conducting risk assessments and developing and maintaining safety dashboards.
You’ll also be involved in continuous improvement initiatives, including implementing changes to gas market tools and reviewing has market alarm policies to ensure compliance and operational reliability. About You
- A second year graduate of a Chemical Engineering degree, with practical exposure to gas transmission pipelines gas processing facilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of asset management, plant performance, and operational efficiency in an energy or process environment.
- Working knowledge of safety requirements, with experience applying risk management practices and conducting risk assessments.
- Experience developing or supporting safety dashboards, and contributing to reviews or improvements of alarm management policies and gas market tools.
- Ability to support Gas Markets in optimising systems and processes, particularly across process safety areas such as maintenance management, safety critical device management, inspection and maintenance, and document management.
- Willingness to contribute to broader business priorities, including supporting Business Performance Team initiatives and assisting with decarbonisation and emissions reduction efforts (e.g. optimisation/reduction of Flare Used Gas (FUG) and System Used Gas (SUG))
The salary position is at $93919 TCR.
