Plays a critical role in leading the successful delivery of data and analytics initiatives across Jemena Digital.

Overview of our role

As the Data & Analytics Delivery Lead, you will be empowered in supporting the successful delivery of data and analytics initiatives. Focuses on empowering collaborative, high-performing teams and encouraging shared ownership to achieve meaningful outcomes. Using Agile ways of working, helps create an inclusive environment by removing barriers, guiding and coaching teams, and aligning efforts with organisational goals to deliver lasting value.

Agile Leadership: Support and guide Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) while nurturing a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Collaborative Delivery: Partner with teams to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics solutions, aligned with both business needs and technical possibilities.

Inclusive Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, trusting relationships between data teams and business partners to ensure shared understanding of goals and expectations.

Barrier Removal: Proactively identify and help remove challenges so teams can stay focused, connected, and productive.

Team Growth & Development: Coach and uplift team members in Agile ways of working, helping foster a collaborative, high-trust team environment.

Proactive Risk Management: Keep a close eye on potential risks and work together with others to address issues early and constructively.

Ethical Data Practices: Ensure that solutions are delivered in alignment with data governance frameworks and support compliance with relevant regulations.

Insightful Reporting: Monitor Agile metrics (e.g., team progress, delivery cycles) to support thoughtful, data-informed decisions and improvements.

A little about you

  • Experience leading or supporting delivery in data-focused environments, such as in Data & Analytics, BI, or AI/ML projects.
  • Collaborative understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), with a flexible, team-oriented approach to delivery.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships between technical and non-technical stakeholders, creating shared clarity and alignment.
  • Supportive leadership style with strengths in coaching, mentoring, and encouraging team growth.
  • Confident in guiding teams through problem-solving, decision-making, and navigating challenges constructively.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps) and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is welcomed.

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile certifications preferred.
