Overview of our role

12 month fixed-term opportunity for a Reporting & Insight Analyst – Finance, is a supportive and valued member of our Payroll team, helping to gently strengthen and grow our corporate and people analytics capability. This role focuses on building warm, collaborative relationships and providing thoughtful finance and people insights that encourage informed decisions, create smoother processes, and foster a positive and inclusive experience for our stakeholders.

A little about you

• Experienced in gently shaping meaningful, data-informed insights that support Finance and People & Culture teams in making thoughtful, well‑rounded decisions.
• Comfortable building supportive, cooperative relationships and working closely with Payroll, IR/ER, HR, Finance, Digital, and wider business partners.
• Skilled in creating intuitive self‑service dashboards and smoothly automated reports (Power BI) that make information easy for others to explore and understand.
• Able to listen deeply to stakeholder needs and use design‑thinking approaches to co‑create solutions that feel practical, inclusive, and user‑friendly.
• Equally confident working independently and contributing to a caring, team‑oriented environment, offering help and encouragement where it’s needed.

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a business or analytical field, supporting a well‑rounded and thoughtful approach to understanding data and people-centred work.
• A caring curiosity for data and analytical practices, with the ability to explore information in a gentle, thorough, and considered way.
• A supportive understanding of business performance frameworks—including alignment, prioritisation, value realisation, governance, and decision support—helping teams stay connected and focused on shared goals.
• Experience nurturing clear and reliable data models and processes, including data design, ETL, visualisation best practice, and data exploration/processing.
• Comfort working with a variety of technical tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL, PayGlobal, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP ERP/FICO, and sharing knowledge in an approachable, collaborative way.
