Jemena is seeking a Key Account Manager – Data Centres (KAM) to be the trusted partner and advocate for our major Data Centre customers across the Jemena Electricity Network (JEN).
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the commercial heartbeat of our Data Centre portfolio—nurturing long-term partnerships, championing customer needs, and guiding them through every stage of their energy journey.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Cultivating strong, strategic relationships with key Data Centre customers, built on trust, transparency, and shared success.
- Anticipating future needs by tracking investment and load growth plans, ensuring our network evolves with our customers.
- Spotting opportunities through market scanning and supporting new connection pathways.
- Guiding post-connection activities with care—from commissioning support to billing accuracy and tariff resets.
- Managing financial milestones with precision, including security payments and rebate processes.
- Leading with empathy during major network outages, ensuring clear communication and proactive support.
- Enhancing the customer experience through thoughtful onboarding, energy management, and contract lifecycle support.
What You Bring:
- A proven ability to build and manage customer relationships with warmth and professionalism.
- Experience working with large commercial or industrial clients, ideally in the Data Centre or energy space.
- Confidence in commercial negotiations and contract management, with a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with electricity networks, infrastructure planning, and high-voltage connections.
- A strong grasp of forecasting, billing, and tariff structures, with attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
