Overview of our role
At Jemena, we’re united by a purpose: to bring energy to life for homes, businesses, and communities. We’re looking for a Strategy Manager – Jemena Electricity Network (JEN) who will play a key role in guiding the future of our electricity network.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development, management, and annual review of JEN’s market strategy, including our 10-year vision
- Partner with senior leaders and peers across the business to align customer, network, and commercial priorities
- Drive strategic initiatives that support growth, simplify processes, and create meaningful outcomes for customers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with colleagues in Gas and Group Strategy to ensure we’re delivering as one team
- Contribute to customer programs and stakeholder engagement initiatives, including support for vulnerable customers

A little about you
- Experience in strategy, planning, or consulting in energy or related sectors

- Knowledge of electricity markets, regulatory frameworks, and energy transition
- Strong strategic thinking with analytical and commercial insight
- Collaborative leadership with excellent stakeholder relationship skills
- Passionate about delivering positive outcomes for customers and communities
Qualifications / certifications & Skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or Finance)
- Understanding of electricity networks, energy markets, and customer needs in Australia
- Knowledge of energy policy and factors shaping the sector
- Collaborative approach with experience influencing outcomes across teams
- Experience leading people or projects, or readiness to step into a leadership role
