Overview of our role

The Gas Procurement Manager – Projects empowers our business by providing strategic, relationship‑centred procurement leadership across our gas assets and major projects.

As the procurement expert, this role shapes smart sourcing strategies, nurtures strong supplier partnerships, and champions procurement as a key enabler of successful project delivery. With a collaborative mindset and a focus on long‑term value, it guides the full procurement lifecycle — from market engagement to contract management — ensuring our supply chain is resilient, aligned, and ready to support the organisation’s future.

By championing thoughtful planning, uncovering risks and opportunities, and nurturing strong, trust‑based partnerships, the Gas Procurement Manager – Projects ensures procurement activities seamlessly support project delivery, uplift asset performance, and create lasting value for the Group.

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

  • Tertiary studies in business, projects, procurement or supply chain welcomed, though not essential.
  • Professional procurement membership valued as an added strength.
  • Industry insight from the energy sector, bringing confidence and context.
  • Calm, customer‑centred communicator with strong negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Comfortable navigating contract frameworks, methodologies and legislative requirements.
  • Curious and commercially aware, with a feel for market dynamics and broader economic shifts.
  • Builds supportive, service‑led relationships that uplift stakeholders and teams.
