Overview of our role

12 Month Fixed-Term opportunity.

You will lead a high-impact, multi-state Facilities portfolio across VIC & QLD—owning performance, driving service excellence, and influencing how workplaces operate day-to-day. Working closely with stakeholders and service partners, you will bring a strong commercial lens, elevate standards, and shape smarter, more efficient ways of working. 

With a strong commercial focus, you'll drive smarter outcomes across budgets, compliance, and service delivery.

You will occasionally oversee the delivery of FM‑led minor capital works through the team and service providers, with major capital projects managed by the Property / Projects function.

A little about you

  • Bring strong experience leading Workplace / Facilities services within corporate environments
  • Proven in managing multi-site portfolios and guiding high-performing FM teams
  • Commercially savvy, with hands-on experience across budgets, Opex/Capex and forecasting
  • Confident in managing service providers, contracts, and performance outcomes
  • Detail-oriented approach to compliance, systems (CMMS), and operational data
  • A natural collaborator who builds relationships, solves problems, and takes initiative

 

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

  • Legislation, regulation and standards within Facility Management, such as but not limited to;
  1. Building Code Australia
  2. Australian Standards in reference to management and maintenance of Fire. Mechanical, Electrical etc
  • HSE/OH&S exposure
  • Financial Management (Opex and Capex) including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, accruals 
  • Advanced knowledge of Facility Management CMMS/Contractor Management Systems
  • Negotiation skills in order to assure the Company’s best interests are maintained on every occasion
  • Drivers Licence and excellent written and oral communication
