About the role

We’re looking for a SCADA & Control Systems Engineer to join our Gas Pipelines team in a meaningful role supporting critical infrastructure that keeps communities and industries running.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys collaboration, problem-solving, and making a real impact. You’ll work closely with a supportive, multidisciplinary team to ensure our control systems are reliable, secure, and continuously improving.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborating with teams across the business to support safe and reliable pipeline operations
  • Monitoring asset performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Proactively identifying risks and contributing to practical, sustainable solutions
  • Supporting the ongoing availability and resilience of SCADA and control systems
  • Contributing to system design, testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Providing support during system incidents, working together to resolve issues effectively
  • Contributing ideas to business cases, innovation opportunities, and future improvements  

About you

  • Experience working with SCADA and control systems in industrial or process environments
  • An interest in the energy sector and how infrastructure supports communities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience or exposure to risk management and regulatory environments
  • Engineering qualification (Control Systems, Electrical, or similar)
  • Professional accreditation (CPEng/RPEng) or working towards it is welcomed
