About the role:
Due to recent structural changes we are seeking to engage a new Integration & Automation Manager. The appointed candidate will play a pivotal role in steering our company's integration and automation initiatives to new heights.
As the steward of our integration and automation strategy, you'll oversee the architecture, project delivery, and the entire plan/build/run process. Your mandate encompasses the development and implementation of best practices in data and process integration and automation, inclusive of sophisticated API strategies and implementation, and seamless A2A, B2B, and B2C integration across our application landscape.
This role is also responsible for the identification and delivery of new opportunities in Digital automation working with the relevant Digital and Business stakeholders. This role will also support the Digital Leadership in driving Digital Transformation within the Digital function as required.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Leading a cross-functional team of engineers to deliver a full suite of integrated capabilities and services spanning strategy, architecture, delivery and operations across the integration and automation domain. You will partner closely with the SGSPAA business to identify opportunities to automaton business processes to drive business value, leveraging from Digital automation platforms and services. You will also be responsible for governance, operational support and maintenance of the domain.
- Leading the critical strategic technology growth area of integration and automation, including designing and building long-term strategic and sustainable platforms to drive new experiences and unlock business capabilities and value.
- Being accountable for enabling and evolving the domain ecosystem, ensuring consistent and cost-effective usage of services and technology resources, including AWS.
- Being accountable for designing and developing architecture frameworks, patterns, standards, guidelines specific to the domain that can be consumed by business and digital teams.
- Developing and maintaining Jemena’s core integration and automation platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, availability, optimization, and security.
- Being accountable for developing and maintaining knowledge specific to the domain, including architecture and design documentation, processes and procedures, and work instructions.
- Consulting with digital and business stakeholders to assess and anticipate current and future integration and automation requirements and developing a long-term action plan and pipeline of work.
- Actively working with key business stakeholders to identify new opportunities to improve business performance through automation of systems and processes and promoting these opportunities for innovation.
- Managing the integration and automation team's budget and making informed investment and prioritized decisions.
- Partnering with Portfolio Manager to support and guide the creation of idea briefs, with clear articulation of business problem/opportunity, high-level requirements, and a defined scope, leveraging Project Services and Architecture resources including Business Analysts, PMs, and Solution architects
- Managing the utilization of project and BAU resourcing to enable the digital delivery program.
- Ensuring appropriate engagement of BAU resources and agreeing on transition deliverables that are completed and signed off at agreed standards at appropriate stages of the project.
- Partnering with principal architects and Digital strategy team to develop and maintain strategically aligned domain architecture and roadmaps, informed by industry and technology trends, and the operating risk and asset lifecycle status.
About you:
For your profile to be shortlisted you will need to highlight a tertiary qualification in Business/IT along side extensive experience in a similar role.
Additionally please highlight your experience in:
- Governance and risk management of critical business applications
- Budgeting and cost centre management
- Deep technical experience in software engineering principles, system architecture, cloud and DevOps
- Driving initiatives as a technology thought leader in technology platforms
- A leadership role within a dynamic technology function in a large, complex organisation with proven experience leading integration and automation DevOps teams
