Senior Project Manager

Overview of our role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex, high-impact digital initiatives from concept through to production, focusing on applications and system integration. You’ll ensure outcomes are delivered on time, aligned to strategy, and meet regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly within the energy sector.

You will work closely with senior and executive stakeholders, influencing priorities and driving alignment across the business. Partnering with product owners, teams, and vendors, you’ll manage delivery end-to-end, including strong vendor relationships and accountability.

This role requires a balance of strategy and execution—prioritising work based on team capacity, maintaining governance standards, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in a regulated environment.

A little about you

• Proven experience delivering complex projects end-to-end, from planning through to successful production outcomes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust delivery based on business needs
• Skilled in leading cross-functional teams to deliver integrated application solutions
• Strong financial and planning discipline, managing budgets, forecasts, and resources effectively
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and vendors, driving clear decisions and accountability
• Solid understanding of governance, risk, and regulatory environments, ideally within the energy sector

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent industry experience, is desirable
• Experience in project and delivery management, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently, is highly desirable
• Deep knowledge of, and experience with, software development lifecycles
• Comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape and Information Technology
