Lead strategic planning across Jemena’s digital portfolio, aligning investments with long-term vision. Drive prioritisation, value measurement, and governance to ensure digital programs deliver measurable business outcomes.

Overview of role

The Manager, Digital Strategic Planning plays a key role in aligning Jemena’s digital portfolio with our long-term vision. This inclusive leadership position guides integrated planning, ensures smart investment decisions, and fosters collaboration across teams. Acting as a connector between strategy and delivery, the role supports planning cycles, balances priorities, and champions governance to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years’ experience shaping and delivering digital or technology investment strategies in complex environments
  • Skilled in leading enterprise-wide planning and execution, balancing priorities and resources with care
  • Confident in engaging senior stakeholders and contributing to board-level reporting
  • Experience supporting annual budget planning, investment approvals, and financial governance
  • Familiarity with CAPEX/OPEX planning for technology initiatives
  • Strong ability to translate strategic goals into actionable plans with measurable impact
  • Experience in regulated industries (utilities, energy, infrastructure) is valued, especially with an understanding of compliance and operational needs

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

  • Deep understanding of integrated planning, portfolio management, and benefits realisation
  • Skilled in developing business cases, modelling ROI, and evaluating investment opportunities
  • Experienced in strategic planning including roadmapping, scenario planning, and option analysis
  • Familiar with digital budgeting, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and financial governance frameworks
  • Able to optimise budget allocations to support strategic priorities
  • Comfortable working with a range of delivery methodologies
  • Knowledge of modern Enterprise Architecture principles and tools
  • Awareness of the utility sector and its regulatory environment
