Overview of our role

In this 24 month fixed-term role as the Field Service Applications Analyst, you'll be a collaborative partner for our cloud application users. You’ll help keep our systems stable and reliable by responding to issues, monitoring performance, and guiding key application updates.

You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders, improve processes, create helpful documentation, and deliver approachable training. You’ll also assist with cloud integrations using JavaScript and API tools.

We’re looking for someone who communicates openly, solves problems with care, and brings a customer‑centred mindset. Experience with Field Service Management platforms (like IFS, Salesforce Field Service, or ServiceNow) is a plus.

Travel to operational depots across the ACT and Victoria may be needed to support training, deployments, and onsite engagement. 

A little about you

  • Primary contact for Level 1 and Level 2 application support, troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions.
  • Practical experience with cloud-based systems, including configuration, basic administration, and onsite development support.
  • Skilled in monitoring performance, managing incidents, and maintaining system stability and user satisfaction.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, supporting clear expectations and effective requirements gathering.
  • Confident communicator across technical and non‑technical audiences, including leading UAT and validating solutions.
  • Experienced in delivering user training and driving continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications / certifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field, with 5+ years’ experience in Application or Business Analysis.
  • Strong background in application and operational support, including cloud-based systems and client-side development (e.g., JavaScript, .NET, APIs).
  • Experience with Field Service Management (FSM) platforms such as IFS, Salesforce Field Service, or ServiceNow (highly desirable).
  • Solid understanding of IT/digital systems, application lifecycle management, and ITIL practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) and a commitment to continuous improvement.
