About the role:
We have an opportunity available for a Senior Audit, Risk & Analytics Adviser to join us in Melbourne on a permanent, full time basis. This role will involve the provision of an objective assurance and consulting activity utilising data analytics capabilities designed to add value and improve the operations of our business, its related entities and the Market Groups.
Your responsibilities will include:
The role will work within the Internal Audit and Risk (IAR) team to deliver value added internal audit (IA) and risk management (RM) services, including the delivery of investigative work and special projects. It is responsible for driving the application of data analytics and capabilities that turn data into insight and intelligence through assurance and advisory activities.
In addition, the role will drive Continuous Auditing, Continuous Controls Monitoring and other technological capabilities to increase timeliness and coverage of transactions and controls assessed using SAP business intelligence solutions and specialised tools such as ACL.
You will be a professional with sound knowledge on data analytics and constructive application in a risk management, auditing and investigative work context. You will be able to effectively apply your analytical skills to problem solving and analyse large data sets and information to get results, and see the ‘bigger picture’.
A tertiary qualification in an accounting, commerce, economics, engineering or computer science discipline is preferable as well as CA, CPA, CIA or CISA. You will also come with experience in internal auditing and / or risk management, and will ideally have experience working with a “Big 4” firm, professional services or large corporate environment.
You will have the ability to operate autonomously and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment while also displaying a high level of personal integrity, developed interpersonal and project management skills.
