As a Forklift Operator for JD Sports, you will be required to ensure smooth operation of the Distribution Centre.
This role will have you working at our Distribution Centre based in Homebush across the hours of 6.00am - 2.00pm (AM shift) or 2.30pm - 10.30pm (PM shift). You will have the opportunity to fulfil this role for our existing 59 stores across Australia and exciting new stores to come.
As a Forklift Operator, you will be across a range of duties and responsibilities, some of which include:
- Picking, packing, labelling and checking orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading pallets of stock
- Assist with ticketing and pricing of product
- Accurately checking, receipting and putting away stock
- Labelling packages to prepare for shipping
- Assisting during stock takes with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and safety of the warehouse
- Perform ad-hoc duties as requested
- Unpacking and hanging styles
- Assisting our online store in picking, packing and dispatching orders
What we're looking for
- Full availability across Monday to Friday, including full availability during your allocated shift times
- Forklift license is essential
- Experience in RF scanning and pick packing or experienced dock hand is favourable
- Prior experience as a Warehouse Assistant will be preferred but not mandatory
- Must have a demonstrated record of accuracy and attention to detail
- Hands on and able to handle large volumes of work
- Proven track record of meeting KPI’s
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and manual environment
- Display a highly motivated and can-do attitude
- Reliable and punctual individual
