WHAT IS A CAREERS DAY?
JD Sports is hosting a Western Sydney Careers Day on Wednesday, 16th July, to connect, network and engage with top tier talent who have an interest in The Undisputed King of Trainers.
If you are selected, you will meet with our Store Management and Talent team. On the day, we want to know all about you, your management skills, leadership style, motivators. We will also talk you through the world of JD Sports, including career progression, new store openings and our global presence in the market.
The Western Sydney stores we are recruiting for include Parramatta, Merrylands, Penrith, Macarthur, Hurstville & Wetherill Park. However, if you are interested in other locations, we are more than happy to discuss opportunities on the day.
We will be recruiting the following level roles across several new (and existing) locations:
- 3IC
- Department Manager
- Visual Merchandising
- Back Of House Management
- Supervisor
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Individuals who have had leadership responsibilities or management experience within retail or customer service based industries.
- Experience in training, coaching, and developing team members
- Experience in successfully driving and exceeding set KPI's
- Elevated level of written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities, tasks, and overall expectations
We are open to all levels of management - as long as you have strong people and operational skills, and most importantly, have a willingness to learn and are hungry to succeed (being a sneakerhead doesn't hurt either!).
