What you do:

As a Security Architect, you will lead our security architecture practice, providing thought leadership and architectural guidance to ensure our technology is designed, built, and operated in a secure manner. You will input into strategic security decision making and help deliver on an ongoing Cyber Security Program. 

You will be accountable for developing security solutions and patterns that meet our business and security objectives. You will work with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and challenges to develop solutions that manage our risk within appetite and deliver our business strategy.  

You will have a background in security architecture at an enterprise level, with a deep understanding of cloud security and be able to analyze current and future state architecture to develop pragmatic approaches to securing our business. 

This role is suitable for a security architect with solid experience with AWS, Zero-Trust, Data Protection, and Identity & Access Management, and someone who is keen to be a key player in the company-wide digital transformation, building the next generation of digital products and platforms. 

What you need:

  • Experience working in an enterprise environment as a Security Architect
  • Security solution design experience in AWS Cloud & Microsoft environments
  • Experience in implementing Zero Trust, SASE and IAM related solutions
  • Experience in delivering against security strategy and working on a large Cyber Uplift Program 
  • Deep understanding of good security practices and frameworks, such as SABSA, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK frameworks
  • Experience with current common defence technologies and solutions
  • Understanding of PCI-DSS & ISO27001 controls and compliance obligations
  • Practical experience with risk management & threat modelling, including how to mitigate risk through effective control design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
