About the Opportunity:

We’re looking for a proactive HR Officer to support our People & Culture team across a broad range of HR functions. This role is perfect for someone with some HR experience who’s ready to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Be the go-to person for managing the HR inbox, triaging queries and ensuring timely follow-up
  • Provide clear, first-level advice on HR policies, leave entitlements, and navigating internal systems
  • Support employees with queries around payroll, Short-Term Incentives, and general HR processes
  • Run reports and maintain accurate data across HR platforms, including recognition systems
  • Assist in preparing tailored HR reports that help drive business decisions
  • Act as a friendly and approachable first point of contact for employee queries
  • Contribute to recruitment by supporting behavioural-based interviews
  • Help manage WHS Committee meetings, including minute-taking and action tracking
  • Coordinate team events and meetings that bring people together
  • Play a key role in reviewing policies and supporting engagement, culture, and diversity initiatives

About you:

  • You have foundational experience in Human Resources, with exposure to generalist HR tasks and processes.
  • Confident in providing first-level advice on HR policies, leave entitlements, and system navigation.
  • Experienced in supporting HR operations such as inbox management, reporting, and maintaining data accuracy across platforms.
  • Strong communication skills enable you to respond to employee queries with clarity and professionalism.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contributed to HR projects or initiatives, including policy reviews, engagement activities, and WHS support.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others and fostering a positive team culture.
  • Motivated to continue building your HR career and learning from experienced HR professionals.
