What you do

This role will work with the Head of Risk & Compliance to evolve and administer a comprehensive, tailored risk management and compliance framework for iSelect. In the course of developing the risk management and compliance framework, this role will work closely with iSelect’s business units to identify key business risks, develop and implement mitigating controls and maintain the risk management framework through continuous improvement.

 What you need:

  • Able to lead and influence through change and take an agile way of working approach in complex environments.
  • Solid experience in control testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in providing concise and clear advice
  • Previous experience in managing regulatory and operational risk in the financial services or energy sectors.
  • Understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance systems
  • Experience in successively delivering and managing a robust and tailored risk management framework
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in risk advice in financial services, marketing, the insurance or energy sectors, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of risk and reputational principles, practices, theories and concepts.
  • Sound knowledge of finance (e.g. front-line banking, insurance and/or life businesses)
  • Experience in regulatory obligations applicable to iSelect.
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk management practices, risk appetite and governance concepts.
