Comparison Coach - Utilities

We’re looking for a Learning & Development Sales Coach to join our HR team at iSelect. In this role, you’ll work closely with our sales teams to coach, guide and support our comparison experts. You’ll play a key part in helping new team members get up to speed, while also working with existing staff to lift performance, improve compliance and deliver a great customer experience.

You’ll report to the Learning & Development Lead and be part of a collaborative, supportive team based in our Melbourne office. Our people are passionate about what they do and always looking for ways to grow and improve.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support and coach new starters during their onboarding journey
• Partner with team leaders and trainers to identify skill gaps and provide tailored coaching
• Review calls and performance data to pinpoint improvement opportunities
• Design and deliver practical, engaging training sessions
• Help drive a positive and high-performing sales culture
• Keep records of coaching sessions and track progress over time
• Work with the L&D team to continuously improve training programs and processes

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in coaching, sales training or development – especially in a contact centre or fast-paced sales environment
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques, customer conversations, and performance drivers
• Confident communicator who can give clear, honest, and supportive feedback
• Someone who enjoys working with people and helping them succeed
• Organised and proactive – can manage multiple priorities with ease
• A true subject matter expert in Utilities
• Bonus: Experience with instructional design or formal training qualifications
