Together, we provide a seamless, customer-focused experience that makes it easier for Australians to find the right products to suit their needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Ready to sink your teeth into meaningful, audience‑first content that actually helps people make smart decisions? In this role, you’ll shape the future of our content library, keeping it fresh, relevant and performing at its best.

As our Content Specialist, you’ll partner with our Editorial Team and SEO experts to create smart, user‑centred strategies that boost visibility, sharpen quality and make every piece of content genuinely useful. How you’ll do it:

  • Creating clear, thoughtful content briefs that guide direction, structure and SEO/AEO goals for iSelect content
  • Researching target keywords and informing our content strategy with sharp, evidence‑based insights
  • Keeping our content library in top shape - reviewing, refining and refreshing pieces as part of our content cycle
  • Conducting on‑site and off‑site analysis to uncover performance opportunities
  • Working closely with our SEO Manager and Content Manager to bring innovative strategies to life
  • Ensuring every piece meets legal, compliance and user‑experience standards

What’s In It For You

At Compare the Market and iSelect, we’re all about helping people make smart choices – and joining us might just be yours. We offer an environment where your ideas are heard, your contributions are valued, and your growth genuinely matters. Collaboration is part of our DNA and you’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking team where you can do meaningful work (and be recognised for it!)

We’re guided by three shared values that shape how we work, how we treat each other, and how we show up for our customers - Drive, Noble Intent and All Together.

Plus, we offer a range of great perks to help you thrive both in and out of work:

  • Vibrant and social community who have annual celebrations and regular events
  • Enjoy flexible work arrangements, including the option of one day working from home each week or a 9-day fortnight
  • Enjoy additional leave days - ‘ME’ leave and ‘Volunteer Day’ leave
  • Free coffee on Mondays
  • Option to purchase additional leave
  • Return To Work bonus for returning parents
  • Quarterly Award and Recognition program

What Sets You Apart

You’ve got a couple of solid years in content - whether that’s strategy, writing or management, and you’re confident navigating SEO, workflows and tight deadlines. You’re curious, collaborative and love uncovering smart ways to make content sharper and more helpful.

You’ll bring:

  • 2+ years in content, ideally with exposure to finance, insurance or other regulated spaces
  • A good grasp of SEO, E‑E‑A‑T and how content shapes YMYL trust
  • Interest in AI and how it enhances content quality and efficiency
  • Strong prioritisation, stakeholder skills and comfort working at pace
  • An eye for competitor trends and opportunities in existing content
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Search Console, GA, Adobe) and SEO platforms (Ahrefs or Screaming Frog) are nice to have
  • Helpful extras: a Marketing or Communications degree or other relevant digital certifications
