The Opportunity

This is a great role for someone looking to evolve and grow as we grow! The aggregation of the Compare The Market and iSelect businesses brings a unique opportunity to build a great, value-added revenue assurance function and really make an impact.

You'll support and manage the day-to-day operations, providing oversight, supervision and training to a small team of revenue assurance analysts. You'll also support the Head of Revenue Assurance in developing and implementing the revenue assurance strategic objectives and revenue assurance framework across Compare the Market and iSelect. Significant emphasis will be placed on understanding the various sources of revenue, data flows and relationships with the relevant stakeholders to stay abreast of changes and enhancements. This is a transformative role assisting in the aggregation of CTM and ISU businesses and the broader group finance strategy moving forward.

You'll also get the chance to partner with finance teams and assurance counterparts to facilitate understanding and adherence to contractual and service level agreements. Working closely with the respective Commercial Teams, Data and IT, as well as Finance and Reporting, you will produce insights and recommend improvements to key processes and reporting.

About You

We're looking for a star with around two years' experience working within financial services; someone accustomed to that type of governance. You'll have tertiary qualifications in a related field such as business, finance, commerce, accounting. Holding a CA or CPA will really impress us!

Ideally, you'll have:

• Strong analytical skills with ability to probe for further information or greater understanding of problems and with a high degree of detail orientation
• Time management techniques and organisational skills with the ability to meet business targets, perform under pressure and manage a complex and varied workload
• Demonstrates intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to utilise Excel functions
• Demonstrated financial/corporate accounting knowledge (highly regarded but not mandatory)
• Demonstrates willingness and ability to learn new skills (SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL. TM1 and Cognos Reporting)
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously and effectively prioritise workload
• High level of verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with people at all stages of the data chain
• Experience in the development and implementation of governance protocols and associated reporting requirements
• Strong understanding and knowledge of project management principals and methodologies
