We pride ourselves on setting a benchmark for quality and service in the community – so we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Maintenance Handyperson to join our team at the Redearth Hotel and Isa Hotel in Mount Isa!
About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a maintenance all-rounder to assist our hotels with a variety of general handyperson tasks, including yard and cellar work. This is a casual position working Monday to Friday for approximately 30–35 hours per week, with some out-of-hours work as required.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform general public area and groundskeeping duties
- Undertake a wide range of maintenance tasks
- Assist with yard and cellar work as required
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic maintenance issues
- Follow all Workplace Health & Safety standards and Safe Work Procedures

About You:
You’ll have hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of WHS standards. A current QLD driver’s licence is essential. Experience in hospitality or accommodation maintenance will be highly regarded.
